This lovely vacation home is located on a large two-acre property at the end of Penzance Point. As you drive up to the house you are instantly welcomed with views of Naushon Island and Woods Hole Passage. Enjoy nearby islands and sensational sunsets from your own private paradise!

This 1960’s charismatic contemporary home imbues an inkling of young Coco Chanel with the practicality of a classic scientific environment emblematic of the world-renowned marine research community of Woods Hole. Enjoyable for any type of vacation experience this property and home is an oasis for any occasion. Set for any situation of your choosing, the home is equipped with provisions that you’ll find in every corner to meet your needs. American historical, and sometimes abroad, relics of discussion are in every corner. Out of a scene from acclaimed director Wes Anderson’s stylized film “Moonrise Kingdom” - “It’s a place that is institutionally protected from any change, and when you go there, it feels like stepping back at least 40 years into the past.” Wes Anderson (on speaking about his inspiration for the location on Naushon Island just a few miles away by boat).

Penzance Point, located in the village of Woods Hole, is one of Cape Cod's most private waterfront enclaves. Established at the beginning of the 20th century this beautiful peninsula has retained its magical appeal and few homes are available for rental. A short walk to the vibrant village of Woods Hole, home to world-class marine research institutions, an active art, music, and film scene, as well as a wide range of restaurants and shops. Frequent ferry service is available to Martha's Vineyard. The nearby Shining Sea Bike way extends 11 miles past woodlands, marshes, salt ponds and seascape.

There are four full bathrooms - one of them has a shower instead of a bath. There are 6 bedrooms, all have twin size beds. Both master bedrooms have the option of putting two twins together and creating a king size bed. Both Master Bedrooms have ample closet space, and a full bathroom with shower. Beds can be separated or moved together. The 3 downstairs bedrooms are equipped with a twin size bed, closet and dresser each. The fourth downstairs bedroom has a bathroom with a tub, as well as a clothing hanging area and dresser.

**For avid gardeners: There is a rose, flower, and herb garden and its use is encouraged. Professional landscaper cares for beech tree alley, Japanese pine trees, paths, day lilies, and lawns.

Damage/Insurance Fee $139 for seven nights,
